Pastor Fred Hanson was a 1995 graduate of Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN. During the ensuing years he has served in North Dakota, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, North Minneapolis and has been serving at Cross of Hope Lutheran Church since April of 2001.  Fred has a passion for people; listening to their stories and journeying with them through the various stages of their life and faith. Fred also has a passion for mission and believes that the light of faith burns most bright when we become a part of Jesus' call to seek out the lost, hurting and marginalized with words of hope and acts of love both spoken and unspoken.

Fred and has wife Heather are blessed with three wonderful and very energetic children: Alex, Emily and Noah.  In his spare time Fred loves to read, run and is interested in anything that involves a ball or a puck.


LuAnn Olson
Office Administrator


LuAnn has been a member at Cross of Hope since 1987.  She started volunteering in the office in 1992, when her daughter was attending CHEES Preschool at Cross of Hope.  In 1994, she was hired as office coordinator and her job at Cross of Hope continues to grow and evolve to the present time!

LuAnn and her husband, Robert, have two adult children; a son, Matt Cagle and his wife, Jenny, and a daughter, Jenny Olson, as well as two grandsons; Jesse and Wade. 



Timothy Siburg
Worship Coordinator

Timothy is a student at Luther Seminary in St. Paul.  He grew up in the Pacific Northwest in a small Norwegian town of Poulsbo, WA, which is west of Seattle.
Timothy graduated from Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) in Tacoma, WA, in 2009, double-majoring in Economics and Religion. He studied in Southern California and has earned a Masters of Arts in Management degree.
A week after Timothy and his wife Allison got married, the two moved to the Twin Cities to begin studies together at Luther Seminary, and are now excited to be here and to share and join in the family at Cross of Hope. 




Kellet Ose
Children of Hope Preschool Director

Kellet and Paul Ose along with sons Nate and Nicholas joined Cross of Hope in February 1997.  Kellet has a BA from Augsburg College in Mpls. She has been a supporter of the preschool since her children were enrolled in 1997. She served on the board for  4 years. Kellet has been on staff at the preschool since 2005, first as assistant teacher and now as Director/Lead Teacher.

Zach Hansen
Senior High Youth

Zach  along with his parents Greg & Candie and brother Mitch joined Cross of Hope in 1989 at the young age of 3.  Zach has been very active and involved with the youth at Cross of Hope for many years.  He began volunteering with our youth in the summer of 2006 and came on board as staff in 2007.
Zach is a graduate of Northwestern College. Zach teaches and coachs for the Anoka School District.

Pete Erickson
InterServe Consultant

Pete has served and consulted in congregations since 1991. Pete has an undergraduate degree in Communication from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and excels in ministry system design, change management and coaching. He has completed Interim Ministry training and Bridgebuilders training for congregations in transition. He lives in Stillwater, MN with his daughter, Ellie. Pete's role will be evolving an intentionally connected approach to children, youth and family ministry. This will include engaging young people, parents and staff/volunteers to dream, create and implement a sustainable, Christ-centered ministry that is built from the congregation up. And at the same time help assess and maintain current ministry.

Sandi Bulthuis
Children of Hope Preschool Teacher

Sandi and her husband Scott and their two children, Mason & Sidney joined Cross of Hope in October 1998.  She has been very active in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Alpha, and is also our church council secretary. 
Sandi's previous employment was with the Anoka Hennepin School District.
Sandi joined Children of Hope Preschool in January of 2012.

Kelly Simon
Administrative Assisant

Kelly and her husband, Craig and sons Alex & Kevin joined Cross of Hope November of 1997.

Kelly volunteered in the office and got hired in 2007.   Kelly assists in the church office, she is also our financial secretary.

Stefani Lekkas
Custodian

Stefani and her husband joined Cross of Hope in April of 1996 along with their children. They have 5 children between them and 2 grandchildren. Her children are Suzie, Steven, Jenni, Alexandra, and Colton. She has been the custodian here since 2004.
