Cross of Hope's  Worship Coordinator

Timothy Siburg and his wife Allison

Timothy is a first-year student at Luther Seminary in St. Paul.  He grew up in the Pacific Northwest as the oldest of three kids, hailing from the small Norwegian town of Poulsbo, WA, which is west of Seattle.  He is a life-long Lutheran, who grew up in the choir loft where his mother directed in, and still has strong ties to his home congregation of First Lutheran Church in Poulsbo.  In addition to a great passion for music, he has a great love of learning and serving- using the gifts God has given to be of service in the world.  To this end, he attended and graduated from Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) in Tacoma, WA, in 2009, double-majoring in Economics and Religion.  He has a "calling" towards work in organizations such as Lutheran World Relief; religious organizations who do work of economic development, relief, and poverty alleviation. While at PLU he sang in the Choir of the West, and Vocal Jazz Ensemble; in addition to continuing involvement in music at First Lutheran with the "Step of Faith" worship band, "Liberty Bells" handbell choir, and other music ensembles.  He studied in Southern California this past year, earning a Masters of Arts in Management degree from the Drucker School at the Claremont Graduate University in May.

Timothy also met the love of his life at PLU, Allison Parks.  The two majored in religion together and met in and grew as friends in religion classes, ultimately growing their friendship into something more.  Timothy proposed to Allison last fall, and the two were married in Poulsbo this past August.  A week after getting married, the two moved to the Twin Cities to begin studies together at Luther Seminary, and are now excited to be here and to share and join in the family at Cross of Hope.
