Grew Up In:  Brooklyn Park, MN
Hobbies: Stained glass, drawing, painting and studying God's Word
Life Dream: To always be a teacher and disciple for Christ
Greatest Achievement: My two wonderful daughters and receiving my Bachelor's Degree in 2008
Why are you passionate about Youth Ministry: Because my heart aches for youth in the trials and struggles they have to deal with on a daily basis.  I have found myself drawn to youth functions because my girls are that age but also, I want to be available, to listen and just talk about how things are going.  Our youth are our future, I want to share God's truth and be real with them.
Education: In 1981 I graduated from Osseo High School, probably with a "C" average.  Went to St. Cloud State University, failed miserably and was expelled for low academics.  I didn't have a clue what to do or how to ask for help but this was one of the most educating experiences of my life.  I share this with you because school has always been a struggle for me, I can relate.  In 1984 I received my Associate in Arts degree form North Hennepin Community College, and then transferred to Moorhead State University.  I majored in elementary education with a coaching minor but quit school to get married in 1986.  I finally returned to school in 2005 and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2008 receiving my Bachelor's of University Studies Degree from Morehead State University in Kentucky, focus in elementary and early childhood education.  If at first you don't succeed, try and try again!
Favorite:
Movies: "Steel Magnolias" because true friends accept you for who you are... are there for you and love you no matter what.  I also loved Avatar!
TV Show: Divine Design - HGTV
Musical Group: Barlow Girls
Sporst: I like to watch are football, basketball and track & field.

Hobbies: Biking, Jogging and working on projects at home or in the garage Life Dream: To become a professional Hockey Player. Unfortunately I stunk as a player so I had to fall back on being an Engineer. I always wanted to design something cool like the space shuttle that would make a difference in life. Now I know that what is important is that I live a life of faith that leaves a positive legacy and is a blessing to future generations. When my time on earth is done, I would like to hear Jesus say to me "Well done, my good and faithful servant" Wow- I have a long way to go, I better get to work!
Greatest Achievement: Raising two wonderful daughters and winning Cross of Hope's 2011 "Best White Chili Cook-off contest"
